Antifogging Agents

These antifogging agents create transparent layers on packaging films by preventing the formation of water drips on the surface during condensation. If, e.g. the interior side of packed goods is fogged-up, then it is not possible anymore to see what is in the packet. Antifogging agents have 2 different functions: either the surface cannot be covered by water (e.g. by means of silicone oil) or the surface can be covered by water very well so that the condensing water creates a coherent transparent film (e.g. by means of polyethylene glycole).
