Metal deactivators

are a special kind of antioxidants (carboxylamide, hydrazone, hydrazide, hydrazine etc.). Non-ferrous metals such as Cu, V, Mn, Co, Fe, Ce a.s.o. and their compounds do not only catalyse the plastic polymerisation but also the polymer degradation by oxygen. Plastics in final applications with direct metal contact have to be stabilized with special additives.
