Photosynthesis selektive Systems
These are light modularing substances which are used in greenhouses. Special pigments e.g. absorb in the ultra-violet range of the sunlight and radiate again in other wavelengths by a fluorescent process. The consequence is an increase of light.
By chosing appropriate systems it is possible to achieve this increase in those ranges which are used by the plants for photosynthesis (PAR, Photosynthesis Active Radiation). The result is a quicker growth of the plants and healthier and more resistant plants (e.g. for rose growing).
